On the 9th Day of Christmas My Trainer Gave to Me.....
Sessions with a personal trainer will be that gift that keeps on giving! Feel free to take credit for the incredibly thoughtful gift!
....Sessions with a Certified Personal Trainer
You had to have seen that coming, right? The main reason I became a Personal Trainer was because I believe trainers actually help people-and not because we just like to workout! In fact, most of the time I don't actually DO anything-haha! :) Trainers come in all shapes and sizes and offer a wide variety of services that come in 1-50+ session packages, in the gym or in your home. Plenty of options! I would suggest, though, that before you purchase any sessions, make sure it will be a welcomed gift and not a "I think you're fat" gift! Just sayin....
Here are some of the great reasons why you would give the gift of a trainer! Maybe the gift recipient is:
Find out what's happening in Yorkvillewith free, real-time updates from Patch.
Stuck-a trainer can help break through a plateau or simply offer something different to bust the boredom
New-they want to start working out, but not sure how start? A trainer can help create a workout based on a their own fitness level

Injured or ill- a trainer can help figure out any modifications needed or even help a person continue with the exercises from the physical therapist
Curious-maybe someone wants to learn something new, such as High Intensity Interval Training or Yoga, but would rather not try it in a group setting
Unmotivated-Sometimes a kick in the butt from a trainer or weekly accountability provides that necessary "push" to get moving again.
A DIY kinda person -Some people want to create a customized workout plan and off they go!
I could go on and on about the benefits of a trainer (that's another post) but the bottom line is that a certified trainer has been "trained" and uses this knowledge, along with experience, to create safe, effective workouts!
Tomorrow is Gift #8 and also marks one week til Christmas Eve! WhoHoo!!
