Woman Reportedly Dragged By a Vehicle By Her Hair: Sheriff

Sunday, April 14

DUI

Alejandro Reynoso, 35, of the 1500 block of Liberty Street, Aurora, was arrested at 12:52 a.m. at West Anchor Drive and Route 31 and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, said the Kendall County Sheriff’s office. He was also cited for improper lane usage.

Obstructing identification, no valid driver’s license, warrant

Charles Canada, 27, of the 2800 block of Hoffman Street, Plano, was arrested at 11:05 p.m. at Route 34 and Game Farm Road, Yorkville, and charged for obstructing identification by providing a false name, driving without a license and a warrant out of Cook County for possession of a controlled substance, said the sheriff’s office. He was also cited for speeding and failure to properly secure a child under eight years old.

No valid driver’s license

Money Cheyenne Redmond, 19, of the 0-99 block of North Madison, Oswego, was arrested at 8:40 p.m. at Boulder Hill Pass and Codorus and charged for driving without a valid license after she was stopped for driving without headlights when required, said the sheriff’s office.

Saturday, April 13

Warrant, obstructing identification

Kerry O. Watson Jr., 18, and a juvenile, 17, were arrested at 8:17 p.m. at Route 25 and Boulder Hill Pass, said the sheriff’s office. Watson was charge with an in-state warrant and the juvenile was charged with providing a false name during the investigation.

Speeding

Drew Sterling Tyler, 22, of the 4200 block of Dillon Street, Plano, was arrested at 5:12 p.m. at Walker Road and Route 47, Kendall, and charged for speeding over 40 miles per hour over the posted speed limit, said the sheriff’s office. He was found speeding 112 mph in a 55mph zone.

Friday, April 12

Warrant, driving with revoked license

Felipe Montalvo-Jimenez, 34, of the 1300 block of Union Street, Montgomery, was arrested at 12:26 a.m. at Boulder Hill Pass and Hillstone and charged with driving with a revoked license and a warrant out of Kane County for failing to appear for driving on a revoked license, said the sheriff’s office.

No valid driver’s license

J. LUZ Flores-Lopez, 29, of the 200 block of Stewart Avenue, Aurora, was arrested at 5:25 a.m. at Route 30 and Wolf Road, Oswego, and charged for driving without a valid license, said the sheriff’s office.

Thursday, April 11

Criminal damage to property

Sheriff’s deputies are investigating a reported criminal damage to property that occurred between 12 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. in the 0-99 block of Denham Drive, Oswego. A vehicle had all of its windows broken out with what was determined to be a brick.

Burglary

Sheriff’s deputies are investigating a reported burglary that occurred between April 10 at 4 p.m. and April 11at 6 a.m. at Twin Oaks Landscaping in the 900 block of Harvey Road.  Unknown suspects forced entry into the building overnight and took four power saws.

Identity theft

Sheriff’s deputies responded to a reported identity theft that occurred at an unknown time. The victim reported upon trying to file their income tax return they were advised by the IRS that one had already been filed under their social security number.

Battery

A male juvenile was arrested at 5:45 p.m. at Boulder Hill Pass and Circle Drive East and charged with simple battery in an incident with a female juvenile, said the Sheriff’s office.

No valid driver’s license

Jose Antonio Ponce, 22, of the 0-99 block of Marlin Drive, Oswego, was arrested at 11:31 p.m. at Route 30 and Briarcliff Road, Montgomery, and charged for driving without a valid license, said the Sheriff’s office. He was stopped and cited for speeding in a construction zone.

Wednesday, April 10

Obstructing identification

Melissa Varela Arvayo, 25, of the 0-99 block of Brockway Drive, Oswego, was arrested at 11:43 p.m. in the 100 block of Braeburn Drive, Montgomery, and was charged with obstructing identification after deputies responded to the area for criminal trespass to property and Arvayo provided a false name and birthdate during the incident, said the sheriff’s office.

Aggravated battery

Sheriff’s deputies are investigating a reported aggravated battery that occurred in the 0-99 block of Seneca, Montgomery, at 8:48 p.m. A victim reported her hair was pulled by an acquaintance while the acquaintance was in a vehicle parked on the roadway. The victim then reported being dragged a short distance by the vehicle while in the roadway. She was transported to Rush Copley for minor injuries.

Hit and run

Sheriff’s deputies responded to a reported hit and run that occurred in the 4300 block of Tuma Road, Bristol. An unknown vehicle struck a parked car in a private lot and left the scene.

Tuesday, April 9

Hit and run

The sheriff’s office is investigating a reported hit and run that occurred in the 800 block of Dickson Road, Bristol, between 6:30 a.m. at 8:45 a.m. A mailbox was struck when a vehicle swerved off the road and struck it, resulting in $600 worth of damages.

Monday, April 8

Theft

The sheriff’s office is investigating a reported theft that occurred in the 0-99 block of Circle Drive East for the theft of a computer tablet that was stolen on April 2.

Warrant

 Jacob C. Byro, 33, of the 200 block of East Park Street, Plano, was arrested at 4:43 p.m. at Fernwood and Woodridge and charged with a failure to appear warrant out of Dekalb County, said the Sheriff’s office.

Sunday, April 7

Warrant

Darrell Michael Crooks Jr., 23, of the 2200 block of Jason Drive, Montgomery, was arrested at 8:45 p.m. at his residence and charged with a warrant out of Kendall County for the unlawful use of credit card and forgery, said the Sheriff’s office.
