CASA Kendall County provides an Advocate for abused and neglected children who are in this county&#39;s court system.<br> <br> CASA is independent from social services and focuses solely on the child&#39;s needs. Each Advocate reviews records, interviews parents, teachers and doctors, and visits his or her child at least once a month. We often find out important information that others miss. Our advocates then appear in court and submit their findings to the judge.<br> <br> These advocates volunteer their time — free of charge — to act as &#34;the voice&#34; for these abused and neglected children. Yet, it costs money to run this valuable program. CASA Kendall County is a not-for-profit organization that recruits, trains, and supports volunteer Advocates — it is not a government agency. We rely solely on private donations and grants. Your help is needed.
