Spay Illinois Hosting a Low Cost Spay/ Neuter Day Feb. 15

Pet owners can have cats spayed or neutered for $50 and dogs spayed or neutered for $85.

Spay Illinois is hosting a low cost spay/neuter day on Friday Feb. 15. You can have your dog spayed/neutered for $85, your cat spayed/neutered for $50 and this includes the pain medication. “Through the program we are hoping to provide the chance for happier, longer lives for these pets, and also decrease the number of unwanted dogs and cats entering municipal and private shelters in our area,” CEO Kathi Daniels said. There are no income or residency qualifications for this program. If you are on food stamps or SSDI you can have your pet spayed/neutered for $15. Kendall County Food Pantry participants can have their pets spayed/neutered for $25. Appointments fill up fast so please call at 877-475-7729. Organizers said the program is …
