Pot Plants Discovered After House Fire: Sheriff

Reports from the Kendall County Sheriff’s office; April 29 – May 5.

Hit and run Justin J. Teliszczak, 23, of the 1800 block of Sergeant Lane, Plainfield, was arrested at 8:03 a.m. at Plainfield Road and Collins Road and charged with a hit and run, said the Sheriff’s office. Deputies were dispatched to an accident that occurred around 2 a.m. where a vehicle was found to have left the roadway and rolled into a ditch, struck a culvert and went airborne, coming to rest on the south side of the culvert. The license plates had been removed. It was learned the vehicle was driving by Teliszczak, who suffered a minor hand injury. Domestic battery, criminal damage to property Warrant Cory William Bryson, 19, of the 1900 block of Cantrell, Decatur, was arrested at 11:43 a.m. in the 3100 block of Bristol Ridge Road, Bristol, and charged with a warrant from the Illinois Department of Corrections, said the Kendall County Sheriff’s office. Unlawful possession of cannabis Elliot Lovelle McGaughy Jr., 18, of the 1400 block of Light Road, Oswego, and a male juvenile, 17, were arrested at 12:18 a.m. at Route 31 and Dolores Road and charged with the unlawful possession of cannabis, said the Sheriff’s office. Aggravated battery to a police officer, obstructing a police officer, possession of cannabis, possession of drug paraphernalia Ryan Wayne Miller, 23, of the 2800 block of Troon Drive, Montgomery, and Jessica Leann Whitlock, 22, of the 0-99 block of Paddock Road, Montgomery, were arrested at 2:25 a.m. at Whitlock’s residence, said the Kendall County Sheriff’s office. Deputies went to the residence after a 911 hang-up call in which dispatchers relayed to the deputies that a 6-year-old had been playing with the phone and deputies determined no child was involved in the incident, but a domestic violence incident between Miller and Whitlock. Local Man Charged in Incident Involving Dog Bite: Sheriff's Reports

Theft Sheriff’s deputies responded to a reported theft that occurred at 6:54 p.m. in the 1100 block of Route 30, Montgomery. The victim reported that $2,500 cash was stolen from their motel room and believes that a friend sharing the room might have information. Attempts to contact the friend via telephone were unsuccessful. Harassment by electronic means Sheriff’s deputies are investigating reported harassment via electronic means. The victims reported that they are receiving threatening text messages. Driving with revoked license John S.
