Oswego, Kendall, Kane Counties Jobless Rates Decline in March
While unemployment throughout Illinois has remained mostly unchanged since February, overall 218,500 private sector jobs have been added since January 2010, according to the Illinois Department of Employment Security.
Unemployment rates in Illinois were 9.5 percent in March, a slight decrease over February and slightly higher from the same time in 2012, according to new figures released in late April. In Oswego, the unemployment rate dropped -0.4 percent in March to 8.4 percent in the village. That is down from 8.8 percent in February and up from 7.6 percent in March 2012. In March, in Kendall County the rate fell to 8.9 percent from 9.6 percent in February. That figure is up year over year from 8.2 percent In Kane County, the March jobless rate was reported at 10.3 percent, which was down from 11 percent in February. Wow. I wonder how many of these people voted for the same old, same old. Illinois is in a rut with the dems carving up Kendall county voters districts to be combined in democrat heavy territories to disenfranchise a strong county for republicans. What a game plan!
