Yorkville Euchre and Bunco Event Supports Scholarship Fund
The Greater Yorkville Kiwanis Club raised money Saturday for a scholarship to be given to a deserving Key Club senior.
The Greater Yorkville Kiwanis Club hosted its 3rd annual Euchre and Bunco Tournament Saturday at the Whitetail Ridge Golf Club to help raise money for its scholarship fund. The Greater Yorkville Kiwanis Club is a part of Kiwanis International, a global organization represented by members of all ages who are dedicated to changing the world by volunteering and making a difference in their local communities. The club sponsors a Key Club at Yorkville High School, and encourages its members to volunteer in the community. Each year, the Greater Yorkville Kiwanis Club presents a scholarship to one Key Club member who is a graduating senior at Yorkville High School and plans on furthering his or her education.
