Daddy-Daughter Dance Tickets On Sale Monday

Girls and dads throughout Yorkville are invited to the annual Daddy Daughter Dance sponsored by the Yorkville Grade School PTO. The 2013 dance will be at Yorkville Middle School on Saturday, March 9 from 6 to 8 p.m. This year’s theme is “A Night in Candy Land.” Cost is just $15 per couple and $2 for each additional daughter. “All Yorkville dads and daughters are invited, including those from District 115 schools, home schools, private schools and even preschools,” said Crystal Cavey, president of the YGS PTO. “For years, dads and daughters, citywide, have made special memories at this Daddy Daughter Dance and we want that tradition to continue.” Back by popular demand, VIP tickets will be available in limited quantities. It seems that people who require the VIP treatment, are the same people (maybe), who also require fancier schools, and a lot of Park District programs, and other such things that require taxpayer subsidization. At least in this case, these people are having to reach into their own pockets to pay for the extras. more ›
