The following is from a release issued by the Kendall County Sheriff's Office: The Kendall County Sheriff’s Office announced it will conduct special patrols this Super Bowl weekend cracking down on drunk drivers and seat belt law violators. “We are reminding everyone that if you choose to drink and drive in Kendall County this weekend, you will lose,” said Operations Commander Phil Smith. “If you plan on drinking alcohol while cheering on your team, pass your keys to a sober driver before the Super Bowl party begins. U.S. Marine Corps Lance Cpl. Kyle Moser of Oswego got the trip of a lifetime over the weekend when he attended the Super Bowl with members of his family and legendary Bears quarterback Jim McMahon. Moser, who was badly injured in Afghanistan in November, was the guest of the Hope for the Warriors Project. These photos and the following article are courtesy of that organization. Moser flew to Indianapolis with his wife Alex, his father, Bob, and his stepfather, Ronald Zander. They were invited by Jim McMahon to come to Indianapolis and attend many events leading up to the Super Bowl. Since losing both his legs and part of his hand to an explosion in Afghanistan in November, Oswego’s Kyle Moser has spent virtually all of his time inside hospitals. That will all change this weekend as the 2010 Oswego High School graduate and U.S. Marine Corps Lance Corporal will attend the Super Bowl in Indianapolis as the special guest of former Chicago Bear quarterback and Super Bowl champ himself Jim McMahon.
