Two deadlines are quickly approaching. 1) The deadline to order tickets to the Fox Country Players' presentation of Love Letters is Monday. Each $25 includes dinner catered by Cobblestone Bakery & Bistro, and the show tracks two star-crossed lovers and their lifetime of letters. Area senior citizens can register for two identity theft seminars State Rep. Kay Hatcher is hosting Tuesday. A session will start at 9:30 a.m. at the Beecher Community Center, 908 Game Farm Road, Yorkville. Another session will start at 1 p.m. at Lions Park, 500 S. Filmore St., Elburn. According to a news release: "The Seminars will include informative presentations from representatives of the Illinois Attorney General’s office and the Illinois Comptroller’s office on how to safeguard your credit card, social security and other personal and financial information to prevent it from falling into the hands of criminals. The Yorkville Junior Women's Club provided the following news release: The Yorkville Junior Women's Club is now accepting applications for its annual scholarship. The scholarship is open to all high school seniors who are Yorkville residents. Yorkville High School students can obtain a scholarship form from Diane Wallin beginning Tuesday, March 20. The Yorkville Junior Women's Club is accepting early bird applications through Sunday for its spring craft show. The organization is seeking vendors, crafters, businesses and non-profits for the fundraiser, which will be May 19 in Town Square Park. The early bird price is $35; after Sunday, the price is $45.
