Holy Week and Easter Service Schedule for Immanuel Lutheran Church

Services will be held for Palm Sunday, Maundy Thursday, Good Friday and Easter.

Immanuel Lutheran Church, 10104 Immanuel Road, Yorkville, will be holding its Holy Week and Easter services at the following times: Palm Sunday (3/24): 10:30am Worship service Maundy Thursday (3/28): 7pm Worship service Good Friday (3/29): 7pm Worship service   Easter (3/31): 6:30am Sunrise service, 9:30am Worship service (No Sunday School) For additional information, please call the church office for details at 630.553.5368.  You may also visit Immanuel’s website at www.ImmanuelYorkville.org. The church is located at 10104 Immanuel Road, Yorkville, just west of Route 47.  Pastored by Rev. Michael Neel, Immanuel is a congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America.

Illinois House Honors Fallen North Aurora Soldier

Chris Patterson's family was in Springfield this week as a resolution for him was presented. Patterson gave the ultimate sacrifice on Jan. 6 this year in Afghanistan.

The Illinois House rose to their feet this week to recognize a 20 year-old-North Aurora man who did so much for classmates, colleagues and country. The House unanimously adopted a resolution honoring the life, service and sacrifice of Spc. Christopher Patterson. On Jan. 6, Patterson and three other soldiers died when a roadside bomb went off underneath his vehicle. He was 20. To read more about Spc. Patterson, click here.
