Area Grade Schooler Leads the Way in Holiday Pet Food Drive for Kendall County Food Pantry

Passion for animals leads to food collection efforts.

Tommy Weglarz, a Prairie Point Elementary School Student, has a passion for animals. Even though he is too young to be a member of Lisa Paluch’s Student Leadership Team, Tommy collected pet food for the Kendall County Food Pantry to be distributed to the clients for their pets.  Also participating in the KCFP Holiday pet food drive were: Adding monetary donations to the KCFP pet food drive were: Rebecca Wilhelmi, Ashley Given, Russell Paddick, and Little Russ, a rescue dachshund, who sponsored a booth at the Oswego Christmas Walk in the Old Fire Barn.   Information provided by Kendall County Food Pantry.
