A beautiful morning greeted runners of the annual Cross Lutheran 5K – LutherRun, held on May 4 at Cross Lutheran Church and School in Yorkville. The annual event supports the school’s athletic department for future events and training. More than 40 participants ran or walked in the 5K. Overall winners for the day were: A special thanks to the sponsors, including: Cross Lutheran School is located 2 miles south of Yorkville on Rt. 47 at Ament Road. Cross provides a competitive educational environment for children in preschool through 8th grade. Special thanks to Cross Lutheran School for information and photo.
