A special thanks to Bristol Grade School Principal Danielle Moran for providing the photographs and news release. Bristol Grade School is celebrating Read Across America Week and the birthday of Dr. Seuss. Each classroom hosted a guest reader, where the guest read their favorite Dr. Seuss story. Students also participated in a Dr. Seuss Theme Day, each day of the week. Quotes from Dr. Seuss books and trivia questions were read during morning announcements every day as well. Celebrating reading is a focus at Bristol Grade School, and we encourage students to read during the school day and at home every night. The school celebrated a different book each day:

The principal was the one who sent the photographs to Patch, so I'd expect she wouldn't submit photographs of children whose parents had not given permission. If any parents do object, I'd happily remove the photograph involved.   more ›
