'Old-Fashioned' Bluegrass Concerts Set for Friday
Booming ticket sales inspire back-to-back performances by Ashley Lewis and Ashton Gap at the Kendall County Historic Courthouse.
Yorkville residents, be prepared to be melodically swept back in time. On Friday, the Kendall County Forest Preserve District will present An Old Fashioned Country Christmas, featuring period and modern-day bluegrass music at the Kendall County Historic Courthouse. The exquisite vocals and harmonious unplugged instrumentals consisting of mandolin, fiddle, guitar, upright bass and banjo will be performed by Sandwich native Ashley Lewis and her band, Ashton Gap, which consists of three other members.
