James T. Smith, age 54 of Plano, IL passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, May 15, 2013 at Valley West Community Hospital in Sandwich, IL. He was born on August 4, 1958 in Sandwich, IL the son of Harley E. and Millie Ann (Rochkes) Smith. Jim was united in marriage on September 14, 1985 in Plano, IL to Miss Staci Lucas and they spent the next 27 happy years together. Mr. Smith was a member of First Lutheran Church in Plano, IL. Jim was employed for 24 years as a Machine Repairman at Caterpillar, Inc. in Montgomery, IL. James Francis Noseworthy Sr., age 79 of Sandwich, IL passed away on Saturday, April 27, 2013 at the Kishwaukee Community Hospital in DeKalb, IL. He was born on February 24, 1934 in Boston, MA the son of the late James F. and Annie (Mooras) Noseworthy. Jim served his country proudly in the United States Air Force during the Korean War. Lou Mandle passed away on April 27 after a short, yet courageous, battle with cancer. Lou was born in Pekin, IL on August 11, 1949 to Victor and Mary Randour. She is survived by her loving husband, Kenn Mandle; her sister, Connie Hinton; her two sons, Shaye (Lynn) and Darien (Angie); and her four grandchildren, Piper (14), Zane (12), Ava (7) and Grady (5). Lou dedicated her passion for learning to the development of future leaders as a teacher at Yorkville High School for 17 years, having retired in 2009. Donald Chapin, a long-time resident and community member of Eau Claire, Wisconsin died April 19, 2013 in Sandwich, Illinois where he had lived the past few years with his wife of 58 years, Joanne. Don moved to Eau Claire in 1974 for the opportunity to work at Pope &Talbot paper mill where he was Chief Engineer until his retirement in 1996. During his time in Eau Claire, Don and Joanne raised eleven children.
