To Jims family
I am one of many fraternity brother of Jims from Monmouth College. For the past…Read More several years many of us would meet once a summer to golf. Jim would greet us with a big bear hug and huge smile. He was an endearing friend to all and will be missed greatly. My sympathy to your family, Jim spoke often about his beautiful wife and terrific daughters. He was extremely proud of his family.
Sincerely,
Mayor George Gaulrapp

Mrs. Mandle was my inspiration when it came to history. I had never liked the subject until I took…Read More her class my last year of high school. At the time my plan was to be a paramedic, but when that didn't work out I immediately switched my major to teaching...history. She made it exciting and interactive. And it wasn't as dry as I once had thought it was before. She woke up a whole new side of me and made me want to know more about the history of, not only America, but the world! Unfortunately, college didn't work out for me, but I still have a passion for history and continue to learn more and more because of her! She was a great teacher, she will be greatly missed. I'm just glad and grateful that I had the pleasure of knowing her. I will never forget her passion for showing me how exciting history can really be! Mrs. Mandle, you will be greatly missed but you will never be forgotten!
