Sing-along at the Bean

Join the Wicker Park Choral Singers for a caroling sing-along at the Bean in Millennium Park Friday at 6 p.m. The event is free. Singing lasts for 50 minutes, though can be cut short if the whether outside is just too frightful.

Celebrate the season German-style at Christkindlmarket

Chocolate-covered grapes, pineapple, berries, bananas, oranges. And brats. What's there not to like about the Christkindlmarket? It’s open 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays. Entry is free.

Jerry Seinfeld’s in town

The comedian is performing three shows, Friday and Saturday, at the Chicago Theatre. Tickets run from $49-$83 and are available here for the Friday and Saturday 7 p.m. shows and the Saturday 9:30 p.m. one.
