Road Updates: Road Widening Complete on Northside of Cannonball
Plus Route 47 updates.
Road construction continues on both Route 47 and Cannonball Trail. Here are your most recent updates:
Route 47
East Hydraulic Street will be closed through this week while concrete paving work occurs, according to the City's Facebook page.Once East Hydraulic Street is re-opened, East Van Emmon will then be closed for work and then once East Van Emmon is opened, East Fox Street will be closed for work.
Temporary pavement will be installed in certain areas of this portion of the project to accommodate traffic movements along the west side of IL 47.
Curb and gutter, sidewalk and related incidental work will follow concrete pavement.
Cannonball
Road widening has been completed on the north side of Cannonball. The widening on the south side will begin soon.Work is expected to continue through October.
