Driving Yorkville: Your Picks for the Most Dangerous Intersections

We asked our readers to tell us what they consider the most dangerous intersections in Yorkville. Here's what they said.

We asked readers on the Yorkville Patch Facebook last week to tell us the worst intersections in Oswego.

With their comments, we started the above map that you can help us populate with your picks.

Route 47 and Cannonball Trail is one of the worst intersections in the area, with multiple comments calling the area "horrible" and saying it needs turn lanes. "Use your turn signal!" said another commenter.

Turn lanes were also at issue at Routes 47 and 34. "No one can see oncoming traffic to make their turn! Especially if a semi is waiting to turn... It's horrible!" wrote one reader.

Schlapp Road and 126 also got multiple mentions, as well as Route 47 coming out of the Speedway.

A subdivision entrance at Farmstead and McHugh is also raising eyebrows. "Try turning left out of Heartland subdivision at Farmstead and McHugh. What were they thinking?" writes another reader.

How to add your own contribution to the map:

You can add locations to this map if we missed what you think is the most dangerous intersection. Simply click the "Add" button in the upper-right corner of the map and enter the location of the problem area and a description of the problem. You can also drag the marker directly onto the map if you are not sure how to describe the intersection.

Where else is of concern? Tell us in the comments below.
