Update: Passenger Taken By Helicopter In Critical But Stable Condition

Update, 12:20 p.m., Thursday, Aug 1. 

Yorkville Deputy Police Chief Larry Hilt said the front two passengers in the accident have been treated and released. The back seat passenger who was taken by helicopter is still in critical but stable condition as of Thursday afternoon and is at Christ Hospital in Oak Lawn.
The crash is still under investigation by the Yorkville Police Department.

Yorkville Deputy Police chief confirmed that there were three people riding in a 1994 Mitsubishi, and it was a back-seat passenger who was taken by helicopter to an area hospital.

Yorkville Patch can confirm a single-car crash at about 1 p.m. in the 2000 block of Kennedy road Friday currently has the road closed in the area.

One person was extricated from the vehicle and taken to the hospital by helicopter.
