School's Starting - Time to Think About the Holidays??

The Yorkville Junior Women's Club is gearing up to meet again in September to prepare for the Holiday Housewalk , Operation Santa and some new surprises this year .

I cannot believe that school has started!  A bit early I think, but it seems that once school starts , the year just flies on by.

As new President of the Yorkville Junior Women's Club this year, my attention gets shifted towards the beginning of our new year next month.  We only meet September through May and we jam as much as we can into a short amount of time!

We have been working over the summer also, preparing for our Fall Craft show in Town Square park Sept 1st. As well as getting started on our Annual Holiday Housewalk held in December.  Choosing houses to be on our Walk in July and August seems a bit odd, but then so does thinking ahead towards our Christmas Toy Drive Operation Santa!

We even have some thoughts to help beat the winter blahs-with a Pajama Party in February!

We are a small Club but we make a big difference in our Community. Our main goal is to help children and seniors in our Community.  We are always looking for new members that would like to help out, even just once or twice a year is helpful.
