.....New Fitness Clothing!
This may be my most favorite gift! No...it is my favorite gift! A person can never have too many workout clothes...or shoes :) There is something energizing about putting on cool new workout clothes! Every January my Group Exercise Classes are filled with colorful, trendy, brand new clothes-I love it!!
And the shoes!! In the past most of the shoes were bright white, but now there are so many colorful options. Since we're talking shoes, (one of my favorite topics!) quality, well-made, activity-specific shoes are a must! Plus, having a pair of shoes that are designated only for your workouts and no where else, will extend the length of the life of the shoes! Good shoes are soooo worth the investment!
OK, on a quick note, and this may not be top priority to everyone, but, personally, I will always spend the money for high quality undergarments, if ya know what I mean! 'Nuff said.
A couple more clothing suggestions:
Anything "Dri-Fit" holds it's shape and keeps colors like new.
A lightweight jacket is a big help when taking "gym clothes" to "errand clothes", and keeps the warmth in that sweaty body!
Winter running/walking clothes are also definitely worth the expense! I go for a moisture-wicking, high compression base layer (top and bottom) and usually even in the coldest weather I'm good to go! Don't forget a water-resistant jacket, polar-tec gloves (with touch pad sensitive fingertips, of course) a hat or headband, maybe a scarf, throw in some warm wicking socks, and your gift recipient will be rockin those freezing winter days!
Awesome, affordable workout clothes can be purchased just about anywhere these days, so besides Dick's Sporting Goods-scope out Target, Marshall's or Kohls for bargains. And finding great deals means you can buy more! Can I get a "Holla"???? Haha!
