YMS Track Team Captures First State Medals

track team sprinted past a few milestones at IESA State Track and Field Meet on Friday and Saturday.

The team had 16 members qualify for the state meet - a record for the program - and the 8th grade girls 4 x 400 relay captured third with a time of 4:17.36, Head Coach Tammy Eaton said. Those were the first medals the team brought home from a state meet.

7th Grade Girls 4 x 200: Brooke Jensen, Catt Chrastka, *Julia Megazzini, Mischara Palmer, and Dominique Anderson.

8th Grade Boys:

8th Grade Girls:
