Tots Learn to Tumble in Class

Yorkville, IL – Children will be introduced to a variety of tumbling activities and equipment in Little Tumblers, a Yorkville Parks and Recreation class.
During the 30-minute session children will have fun stretching like their favorite animals, while gaining self confidence and becoming more aware of their own physical abilities. The class also focuses on gross motor skills, coordination, and flexibility through interaction with peers in a group setting.     Parent participation required for all classes, except for ages 3–4. Parents and children should come dressed in clothing that is easy to move around in.
Class meets from 9-9:30 a.m. for ages 18-24 months, 9:45-10:15 a.m. for children ages 25-36 months, and 10:20-11 a.m. for children ages 3-4.
All classes meet on Fridays, Jan. 7 – Jan. 28 at the REC Center, 202 E. Countryside Parkway.
The fee is $30 for residents and $33 for nonresidents.  Contact the Yorkville Parks and Recreation Department at 630-553-2582 for additional information.
