Yorkville Volunteer Dishes Turkey for Collegians

Professor serves turkey to students at Aurora University.

Yorkville resident Brenda Barnwell, center, was among 35 Aurora University faculty and staff volunteers who dished an early Thanksgiving feast in the campus dining hall for 500 resident students on Thursday,  Nov. 15. Barnwell is a social work professor. The menu included roast turkey, baked ham and all the trimmings. The early feast is an annual AU cafeteria tradition that allows food-service workers to be with their families on the holiday.
