Yorkville Intermediate School Students Recognized for Outstanding Character

60 students honored for the six pillars of character.

Three times a year, Yorkville Intermediate School staff coordinate a Character Counts breakfast to celebrate students for exhibiting great character. 

The first breakfast was Friday, December 6. Each teacher nominated one student based on the pillars of character: respect, trustworthiness, caring, responsibility, citizenship and fairness.

Parents and nominees were invited to a breakfast celebration. After the awards ceremony, YHS students, Nick Firrantello and Dakota Gette, presented about the importance of good character.
