Yorkville Intermediate School Seeking Community Members for Character Counts

Volunteers will be asked to share a short story at the assembly on Oct. 21.

On Monday, October 21st, Yorkville Intermediate School will kick off its annual Character Counts week with a student assembly.

The week emphasizes the 6 pillars of character as identified by the program: respect, trustworthiness, caring, responsibility, citizenship and fairness. Each day, students will participate in activities aimed at teaching and reinforcing the character traits.

The Character Counts Committee and Student Council are looking for community members to share their experiences in society and how good character has played an important role.

Volunteers will be asked to share a short story at the Character Counts Assembly on Monday, October 21st. For more details, please contact Mrs. Andrea Flodberg at aflodberg@y115.org.
