At the Yorkville HS Drama Awards Ice Cream Social held at Dairy Queen on May 28, 2013, Ms. Thompson and Mrs. Konop, directors of the theatrical productions at Yorkville High, announced winners of the 2013-2014 awards.
Backstage Hero awards went to Melissa Myers, Wendy Myers and Eric Redmon. Rising Star awards were given to Diana Ybarra and Declan Weaver.
Winners of Supporting Actress and Actor awards were Abby Sprandel, Rachel Eaton, Ryan Barkauskas, and Matt Quanstrom.

Best Actress and Actor honors were bestowed upon Taylor Vicini, Amanda Armitage, Terry Pletka, and John Pletka.
Winning the “Above and Beyond” award for their extra efforts were Rebecca Armitage and Joe Runkle.

One special senior honored for her worthy participation in each of the available fall and spring plays during her four years of high school was makup artist, Autumn Medina. She received her“Eight Star Drama Award” plaque at the YHS Awards Night earlier in the month.
