Whiz Kids: YMS Student Council Helps Pets
Students helped collect for the Kendall County Food Pantry's Pet Food Distribution Program on Saturday.

The YMS Student Council Members, whose sponsor is Faculty Member Jeff Young, collected both pet food purchased by Petco customers and monetary donations. The members intend to hold a monthly pet food drive at the Oswego Petco through the end of the 2012 school year.

If you want to help, too: Donate pet food at the Kendall County Food Pantry, 1204 Deer St., Yorkville. The pet food program has more than 1,000 clients and serves more than 2,000 dogs and cats a month. Food also is available for small animals, birds and fish.
Thanks to a partnership with each Whiz Kid receives a free 12-in thin-crust cheese pizza redeemable at the Yorkville or Sandwich locations.
