Three YHS Wrestlers Headed to State Tournament
Individual Class AA State Wrestling Tournament set for Feb. 14-16 in Champaign.
Three Yorkville High School wrestlers qualified for the Individual Class AA State Wrestling Tournament in Champaign later this week.
Wrestlers Gunnar Hjorth, Tyler Wilkinson and Bobby Schillinger will compete in the Feb. 14-16 tournament. Wilkinson placed first in the 160 pound division and Schillinger placed first in the 182 pound division. Hjorth finished third in the 152 pound division.

Last week Yorkville racked up 172.5 team points to finish first in the IHSA Pontiac Regional Tournament. Last the month grapplers placed first in the NIB-XII Conference Championship.
