A scoreboard donation from Rush-Copley Medical Center benefits children in Yorkville.
The new scoreboard, located on the football field, will be used by School District 115 as well as Yorkville Youth Tackle Football for practices and sporting events.
The donation is a result of collaboration between Rush-Copley, Yorkville School District 115 and YYTF. The three organizations worked together to plan the location and best use for the scoreboard, one that would benefit all youth participants.
“We’re pleased that the partnership between District 115 and Rush-Copley is advantageous to our students and the community as a whole,” said Dr. Scott Wakeley, Superintendent of Schools.
Rush-Copley has become a major presence in the Yorkville community. The healthcare services and emergency room availability promote health and well-being for all. Yorkville School District 115 is committed to fostering partnerships with local businesses to jointly provide the best for the community.
“When kids benefit from business relationships, everyone wins,” said Wakeley.
