Photo Gallery: Therapy Dogs Visit Yorkville Middle School

Three pooches from Fox Valley Therapy Dog Club visited Circle of Friends, a group that facilitates interaction between special needs and mainstream students.

At one point Friday morning, four hands were petting Griffon in Yorkville Middle School. Griffon, Cee-Cee and Stella visited the Circle of Friends group, which fosters interaction between special needs and mainstream students. Students pet the dogs, brushed them and took them for walks in the hallway - all while sharing stories about their pets at home and what they enjoy about dogs.

The three dogs are part of the Fox Valley Therapy Dog Club, which visits the Circle of Friends monthly. They also visit other area schools, libraries, nursing homes and hospitals.
