Cross Evangelical Lutheran School students win the annual Immaculate Conception Math Tournament.

A special thanks to Lori Dervis and for providing the following news release and photograph.

On Thursday, March 8, Cross Lutheran School traveled to Morris with 15 of its brightest math students from sixth, seventh, and eighth grades to match mathematical minds with six other local schools in the annual Immaculate Conception Math Tournament. The contest consists of both an individual test and a team test. Individual, grade and school awards were given.

When all the numbers were crunched, Cross was crowned the champion of the tournament as a school. Cross also earned first place finishes in both the 6th and 8th grade team divisions as well as a 2nd place finish at the 7th grade team level.
