Updated Photos: Bristol Grade School Celebrates Seuss

Dr. Seuss' birthday was Friday, which also concluded Read Across America Week.

A special thanks to Principal Danielle Moran for providing the photographs and news release.

Bristol Grade School is celebrating Read Across America Week and the birthday of Dr. Seuss.  Each classroom hosted a guest reader, where the guest read their favorite Dr. Seuss story.  Students also participated in a Dr. Seuss Theme Day, each day of the week.  Quotes from Dr. Seuss books and trivia questions were read during morning announcements every day as well.

Celebrating reading is a focus at Bristol Grade School, and we encourage students to read during the school day and at home every night.

  • Wednesday was Crazy Sock Day (Book: Fox in Socks)
  • Thursday was Bring Your Favorite Stuffed Animal To School Day (Book: If I Ran the Zoo)
