Letter: CCGS Principal and Asst. Principal Thank Students, Staff and Parents for an Amazing Year

The CCGS Library will be open during select times during the summer as well for book checkout.

The past school year at Circle Center has been a treasure with all of our extraordinary learners, staff, and parents.

Our students never fail to amaze us every day with their creativity, thinking, effort, kindness, character and motivation to achieve academically. Our students have not only showed us that but the state of Illinois as well in earning the award of Academic Excellence again this year for the achievement of our students over the past 4 years.

We continued to be supported by the most amazing and giving parents there are! We have parents that volunteer as much time and energy that they can and are always there to lend a helping hand when needed.

With all their support this year the PTO was able to update the learning environment of our classrooms with colorful tables, new books, and even more iPads.  Our school is filled with the most caring and diligent staff that you can find who work each day to truly do what is best for students. These teachers pour their hearts out into the art of teaching and are always ready to learn new ways to help our students achieve to their highest potential.

We are always trying to make learning fun while striving to see our students treasure learning as we dove into the open ocean of knowledge! In visiting with students throughout the days, we hear over and over that they love Daily 5 Reading / Reader’s Workshop, guided math centers, and our Thoughtful Classroom strategies that our teachers utilize in their classrooms.  “Evidence” has become an everyday word for our learners!
