Deadline Looming for Community Foundation Scholarship Program

Since 1949, the Community Foundation of the Fox River Valley has awarded more than $9.5 million in scholarships.

The Community Foundation of the Fox River Valley’s 2013 Scholarship Program offers scholarships to students who will attend an accredited institution of higher education on a full-time basis during the 2013-2014 academic year.

Eligibility is limited to residents of the Community Foundation’s service area, which includes the City of Aurora, Kendall County, and southern Kane County within the State of Illinois.

The majority of Community Foundation scholarships are based on academic ability and financial need. A few scholarships do not consider financial need and are based on academic ability or academic excellence.

Scholarship Application Forms are available through Feb. 4, 2013 and may be obtained online at: www.communityfoundationfrv.org/scholarshipprogram.asp
