CUSD 115 Board to Vote on Baseball Field Agreement with Yorkville Athletic Association

Meeting begins at 4 p.m. at the district offices.

Yorkville CUSD 115 Board officials will vote to approve a 10 year agreement between Yorkville Athletic Association, NFP and Yorkville School District for a baseball field at Grande Reserve Elementary School.

The YAA, which fields the Yorkville Fury, plans to use the field four nights a week from March 15-July 15 and on Saturdays and Sundays during the same time period. The 10 year rental agreement is valued between $30,000 and $35,000.

Under the proposal the YAA will be responsible for field preparation prior to any game and the school district will be responsible for maintaining the grass.

The board will also vote to renew the district's insurance consultant contract with GCG for a third year beginning April 1, 2013 through March 31, 2014. The agreement has a value of $45,310.

The baord meeting will be held at the district administration office at 4 p.m., three hours earlier than the normal start time of 7 p.m.
