Yorkville resident Adrienne Batres, right, joined Floyd Hoffman of North Aurora, left, in celebrating his 95th birthday at Aurora University Thursday, Feb. 7. Batres was among AU students in biology professor John Lloyd's Health Professions class who hosted Hoffman. After Hoffman discussed successful aging, Lloyd's students sang "Happy Birthday" and served refreshments. Hoffman has addressed Lloyd's biology classes for five years.
