Bristol Grade School Students Travel Back in Time to the American Frontier

Students learned about the American frontier from the Kendall County Outdoor Education Center.

On Wednesday, November 13th, students at Bristol Grade School participated in “Living History Day”.

The yard in front of the school was transformed into the American frontier as students spent an hour outside learning more about Yorkville and Bristol and the people and animals who once called the area home.

The experiential learning opportunity was coordinated by first grade teacher, Betsy Smith and volunteers from the Kendall County Outdoor Education Center.
