Brackets Set for AA State Wrestling Tournament

Three Yorkville High School wrestlers will compete in the state tournament.

Brackets are set for the Individual Class AA State Wrestling Tournament in Champaign later this week.

Three Yorville High School wrestlers qualified for the tournament last week after the IHSA AA Rochelle Sectional. Wrestlers Gunnar Hjorth, Tyler Wilkinson and Bobby Schillinger will compete in the Feb. 14-16 tournament. This past weekend Wilkinson placed first in the 160 pound division and Schillinger placed first in the 182 pound division. Hjorth finished third in the 152 pound division.
