Battle of the Books Continues at Yorkville Intermediate School
The final battle will take place on May 10 between the highest scoring teams.
The battle continues at Yorkville Intermediate School, where final teams remain in the "Battle of the Books" challenge.
The competition, designed to reinforce good reading habits and make reading fun, enlisted 33 teams comprised of 119 students. Teams competed in a series of so-called "battles" where they answered book-based questions posed by the school librarian and reading specialist.
Teamwork and close-reading were the keys to success in the challenge. The final battle, between the highest-scoring teams, will take place on May 10th.
