Yorkville's Bond Rating Upgraded

The new rating reflects "structural recovery of the city's finances."

The City of Yorkville recently received a bond upgrading from Standard & Poor’s.

The city's rating moved up four notches BBB+ to  AA-.

"The higher rating reflects structural recovery of the city's finances and the application of our recently released local GO criteria," said a credit analyst for Standard & Poor's, Ryan Schultz.
