NOMINATIONS CURRENTLY BEING ACCEPTED
In accordance with Chamber By-Laws, the Board of Directors elections shall take place in December for seats of Directors whose terms are expiring. Nominations are currently being accepted by the Nominating Committee for Directors to serve three-year terms, beginning January 2014.
The Nominating Committee will present a slate of qualified candidates (see qualifications below) to the Board during the November Board meeting. Voting by the Board takes place during the December 19 meeting. The Nominating Committee will contact all candidates with an update following the election.
All nominations must be received by 5 p.m. on Nov. 8.
- Candidates must have been an active Chamber member, in good standing, for a minimum of one (1) year.
- Candidates must agree to accept the responsibility of a directorship (see Fiduciary Duties & Responsibilities*) including attendance at Board meetings held on the thirdThursday of each month at 8:00 a.m. at the Chamber office.
- To be considered, each candidate must submit a nomination form by November 8 to Sherri Farley at the Chamber office (email@example.com) which shall include the following: List of involvement with and contributions to the Chamber, and reasons for seeking nomination.
