Yorkville Mayor Gary Golinski provided this brief update on the River Road bridge, which after discovering a crack in the western abutment was worsening. Golinski indicated engineers believe the abutment and bridge can be replaced while maintaining the dam on Blackberry Creek. some support structures.
Golinski's comments came during a community forum the city hosted Friday before River Night.
