Union Complaints Stall County Projects

The Beacon-News is reporting that the state suspended contractors associated with summer road work.

The contractor awarded road work throughout much of Kendall County has been suspended by the state in light of a union protest, The Beacon-News reported.

Fran Klaas, Kendall’s Highway Department director, said the company did not have the required apprenticeship and training program, according to The Beacon-News.
