One New Face Joins Yorkville City Council, Write-In for Yorkville 115 Board

There will be plenty of familiar faces on both the City Council and Yorkville 115 Board come spring.

There weren't too many shake-ups in this year's local election for Yorkville.

Yorkville City Council Ward 1 saw incumbent Ken Koch defeat newcomer Fred Anderson. Larry Kot ran unopposed in Ward 2.

Ward 3 saw the only changing of the guard with newcomer Joel Frieders beating out fellow newcomer Samuel Clementez and incumbent Marty Munns, who had been elected for three terms previously.

Ward 4 had incumbent Diane L. Teeling defeat challenger Seaver Tarulis.

Yorkville 115 Board of Education only saw a change come with a write-in candidate, Jason Senffer, for one of two elected candidates for outside Bristol Township. He is joined by incumbent David Dockstader.

Incumbents Dean Fisher and Robert Brenart kept their positions on the Yorkville school board, taking challenger Laura Allen out of the running.
