The Yorkville Police Department will host "National Night Out," which seeks to prevent crime in neighborhoods by offering residents the chance to interact with neighbors and service personnel.
The event will feature games, demonstrations, food and music by the Yorkville Community Band.
The event is sponsored by: Yorkville Police Department, Yorkville Citizens Police Academy Alumni, Target, Yorkville Parks and Rec. Department, Grand Rental Station and Alliance for Community Youth.
