Community Volunteer Appreciation Day

The United City of Yorkville appreciates the many volunteers and civic groups who do so much to make our community a great place to live. Every year a special day is set aside by Mayor Valerie Burd to honor and recognize all volunteers in the City. Presentations to the Volunteers of the Year, speeches, music, light refreshments, and a great time. Sponsored by the City's Human Resources Commission.
