With Epiphany past it's time many folks will take down their Christmas trees.
Starting today Christmas trees can be set curbside along with garbage for pick up. Trees must be free of ornaments and tinsel, and may not be in a bag.
Pick up will be handled by Advanced Disposal, which purchased Veolia, the company that previously handled garbage services in Yorkville. When the purchase was made, the city's contract automatically transferred.
